Procrastination is not a cause, procrastination is an effect. Procrastination is a control issue, you don’t fail when you procrastinate, you end up being disappointed and guilty.

To let go of procrastination, you let go of feelings, events and identities connected to the cause of procrastination. Address the cause not the effect.

Procrastination is the paralysis that leads to the pain of regret. Procrastination is a niche that Jeffery Combs specializes in and understands.

Many times I would get my clean clothes by picking through 4 different laundry baskets to find something to wear, I’d iron them and then wear them for the day.  Then as each day went by I had the feeling of dread that I would at some time have to fold the clothes and put them away.  But I continued to leave the laundry baskets of clean clothes sit in my living room.

It was the burden of procrastination, as everyday I knew that at sometime, I would have to fold and put away the clothes.  When I released my procrastination and I took action and did the things that I needed to do, a heavy burden was lifted from my shoulders.  No longer did I have this dread of having to perform a task, which I knew I should have done days, weeks, or even months ago.

When I made the decision to fold and put the clothes away as I took them out of the dryer, I then was more at ease and did not suffer from the fear or dread of the clothes sitting around for days or weeks at a time.
