autopilot
How to reach a goal on autopilot – Over the last few months I started some new projects that I was really excited about working on. Soon i realized that I was creating great success and completing tasks that were required to complete the projects.

Since I have completed the major projects I find myself off track. I had to think a bit of what I did over the last few months and how I had gotten so far off track. I then realized that I had stopped following my daily schedule. I let the projects dictate my accomplishments for each day rather than letting my schedule dictate what I was to complete each day. Personal time, exercise time, contemplation time, eating time, blogging time, article writing time, prospecting time all suffered.

The one thing that did flourish was my income as I completed the tasks required to finish the projects. Every large jet airplane has an autopilot on board that assists the pilots to fly the aircraft and get you from one point to another around the world. This is what my schedule does for me. It assist me in reaching my goals, not just one goal but several throughout each day. I had become a little bit stressed due to not following my schedule.

My schedule allows me to have a well rounded life and it allows me to complete multiple tasks throughout the day. Without my exercise for the last two months I have put on a few pounds, without the personal time I was not socializing with my friends and family, without my prospecting time with potential new clients my next project isn’t waiting for me to tackle.

So tomorrow I begin with a new schedule in hand and refocus on my life as a whole. I now things will begin to fall into place as I perform the tasks that I should have been doing all along. Remember life is not a destination, it is a journey, and each journey starts with a good road map and is completed by taking small steps (or trips) to get there. After time our small steps lead up to a long distance away from where we started. Everyday we are blessed to receive another 24 hours to do with as we desire.
